The following is information about some of our 2010 activities:

 

12/19/10: Danial Gualtieri, my son, just took a new job as Technology Directory for Boots & Coots. He will lead the technology functions within Boots & Coots to provide strategic and innovative solutions to meet our customers needs. He will report to the vice president of company.
 

December 09, 2010: On July 17, 2000, Uncle Joe’s great granddaughter and Joe Hutchinson’s (Rose Gualtieri Hutchinson’s son) youngest daughter Betsy married Mark Pierz. Like Joe they are a loyal Blue Bell couple.

November 05, 2010 - Clorinda Gualtieri, Louie Gualtieri’s daughter, decided to get married to Gary Wiener on Halloween. Here are a couple of pictures, the other two people in the picture are her daughter Randi Woodruff and son Daryl Throne.

10/29/10 #1: From Joe Hutchinson, Rose Gualtieri’s son and Uncle Joe’s Grandson, in Arizona: We had golf ball size hail storm and for a longer duration...imagine putting a plate of leftover pasta in microwave and being pelted by hail through the shattered skylight while it hits the ceiling fan! 'TEXAS style' as our State Farm adjuster said who drove from there and asigned to this AZ storm... Totally unexpected severity that included every garage window as well as upstairs window and screens being blown off. Not to mention we have 16 trees, that were stripped 2/3 bare, 6 inches deep of this in the yard and 50 oranges sheared from both trees, and now many more that were split now falling from trees! NO CROP THIS YEAR...

#2: Tony & Vivian Gualtieri had a great time at the Texas Plus, Advanced and Challenge Convention in Paris last weekend. They danced 5 - 2 1/2 hour Challenge 2 dances over the weekend. (Paris, Texas that is.)

09/28/10 #1: Sol/Sammy Gualtieri is doing OK; he has 3 chemo treatment left. #2: Jan Paparatto sold her house in Chicago and is moving closer to her son Louis. #3: Vivian and I went to another Square Dance weekend in Schertz, Texas. We danced Advanced, Challenge 1 and Challenge 2 levels.
 

Samantha Korzelius married Jason Grospe on August 9, 2010.

August 15, 2010 #1: Randi Woodruff, Louie Gualtieri’s granddaughter and Clorinda Woodruff’s daughter, and Justin Buehn had a new baby girl. Brianna Jo Buehn was born May 19, 2010.

06/22/10: Matt Elliott, Mario’s son-in-law and his daughter Nina’s husband is running for Sheboygan County Sheriff, see: Elliott for Sheriff. In addition, for the second consecutive year their company SPECIAL OPERATIONS DETECTIVE AGENCY has received THE 2009 BEST OF SHEBOYGAN SECURITY GUARD & PATROL SERVICE AWARD, by the U.S. Local Business Asspciation (U.S.L.B.A) based in Washington, D.C.
 

06/19/10 #1: Sol/Sammy Gualtieri is still doing OK after his chemo treatment. #2: Louie was told he has a serious problem with one eye, a blood vessel is very weak and could break at any time. He is planning on going to Washington soon for some grandkids weddings.
 

06/05/10 #1: Sol/Sammy Gualtieri is doing OK after his first chemo treatment. #2: Mario’s son Sam has to have back surgery and Sam’s wife Edith is going to have foot surgery.
 

05/26/10 #1: The doctors said that Sol/Sammy Gualtieri’s cancer has spread. He goes in for his first chemo treatment today. #2: Vivian and I just got back from another Square Dance weekend in Schertz, Texas. We even danced a Challenge 2 tip this time. We had a great time.
 

05/10/10: I talked to my brother Sammy/Sol today and he said the doctor told him that the cancer in his bladder was cleared up. However, since Sol lost a lot of weight and his stomach was bothering him they decided to do more testing next week to see if the cancer has spread to other parts of his body. I'll keep you informed.
 

05/02/10 #1: Carmela Gualtieri Capparelli (Uncle Giuseppe (Joseph) daughter was taken to the hospital and had to have pace maker install. She is doing reasonable well. #2: Vivian and I just got back from another Square Dance weekend with 6 dances in Schertz, Texas. Three were at the Challenge 1 level and three were at the Advance 2 level. We had a great time.
 

#2: Uncle Joe's great granddaughter and Joe Hutchinson daughter Lacey had their second child, Madeleine on March, 26, 2010. The baby weighed 6lbs 15 oz and is 20.5" long.

02/18/10: First Sol/Sammy Gualtieri celebrated his 90th birthday yesterday. Second, a couple of days before his birthday he had another cancerous tumor removed from his bladder. He will see the doctor again in 4 weeks to see if they got it all. Sol is going fine right now.
 

February 11, 2010 - Tony & Vivian Gualtieri celebrated their 45th anniversary last Saturday with their son Danial and his wife Shelley at a Sardinian restaurant. Here are a couple of pictures before they left the house.

February 09, 2011: Two of Louie Gualtieri’s granddaughters (Tammy’s daughters) got married this summer. I just recently received the pictures.
Amy Korzelius married Jacob Mills on June 27, 2010.

01/28/10: Stacia Logan, daughter of Dennis & Leysa Logan and grandaughter of Mario Gualtieri, received her Masters Degree of Science of Elementary Education from Western Illinois University on Dec.19, 2009. She is currently the pre-school teacher at Dallas City Elementary.
 

01/23/10 #1: Sol/Sammy Gualtieri fell over a box of Christmas declaration while putting them away and hurt his shoulder. #2: Danial Gualtieri, my son, was just nominated to the board of directors for the Houston Chapter of the Salvation Army. He will be their youngest board member ever. #3: Vivian and I have finally started Square Dancing again after our surgeries. In fact, we just schedule a square dance weekend with 6 dances.
