The following is information about some of our 2007 activities:

• 12/21/07: -  First, I need to apologize for not updating this site like I should have been doing. Being in Italy for a month and then trying to catch up with all the "honey dos" Vivian had for me has kept me busy. Of course, I would get the most news items during that time. The following is the news I missed, I am sure I forgot something so just let me know:

  #1 Gina, Mario’s daughter, got married on 11/16 to Ron Heuer in Wisconsin. Nina and Matt were their witnesses. They will be living in Canada since Ron got a job transfer. See Wedding picture in Photos.

  #2 - Danny Lyons, Daniela Guatieri?s husband, just completed a set of class that allows him to be a policeman in London. He started his new job 11/13 as a London ?Bobby?; previously he was a Traffic Officer.

  #3 Charles Porter and Jamie, Aunt Amelia’s grandson, are expecting a baby girl in April. They are planning on naming her Annabelle Kathleen.

  #4 Alexis Demko was promoted to a Gifted and Talented (GT) 5th grade class and was nominated to attend the National Center for Early Academic Excellence.
   

• 11/20/07 - Well, I am back from my long trip to Italy and will be making a lot of changes to the website shortly - as soon as I get Vivian's honey do list a little shorter. I also have a lot news to add soon.

• Nov. 16th 2007 - Gina Gualtieri and Ron Heuer were married in Wisconsin on 11/16/2007.

• 10/05/07 - Amanda Gualtieri: I thought I would send you a few pictures of the Gualtieri's here in AZ... Not everyone is in this picture but, this was taken August 3rd, 2007. It was taken at Slide Rock National Park, in Sedona AZ. Amy Korzelius came down to visit and we went on this trip. The picture titled Group 9 has in order;
  Lori, Mike Adams (Krystal's fiance), Krystal, Amanda, Steven (Amanda's Boyfriend), Dakota (from my mom's second marriage), Jolene, RebeccaLynn, and Amy Korzelius.
  Only missing, Mathew and Tiffany from this particular trip. I will have to find a picture of everyone soon. With Halloween and Thanksgiving around the corner I could probably take a recnet one of all the kids.

• 09/26/07 - I have not received any news in a while and Vivian has been keeping me busy, however here is come new news:
  1. Tony & Solly - Eddie's sons paid a surprise visit to their Uncle Mario in Dallas City on the weekend and made him very happy. Here is a picture of them and Mario's daughter Leysa.

2.  I finally got a picture of Nicholas Paul Buehn who was born on 3/23/07. He is Clorinda (Gualtieri) Woodruff's Grandson and Louie's Great Grandson. His mother is Annette (Woodruff) Buehn.

3. I just made reservations to go back to Italy and visit Teresa and Mike again. I hope to also see several of Uncle Damiano's family.
 

• 08/20/07 - I have not received any news in a while, however I did make an interesting discovery: Did you know there are 2 cities in Italy named "Gualtieri".
  1. Gualtieri, Emilia Romagna, IT in northern Italy and
  2. Gualtieri, Campania, IT in southern Italy.

• 08/03/07 - I just got a note from Louie, he said: "Just got back from doctor to get brace off. Which he did and he pull out the sticth which was a piece of string about seven inches long then he put the metal brace back on so I can not bend my wrist. He said it would take a month or more before it is normal, he hopes, because I should of had it fix years ago."
   

• 07/29/07 - I talked to Louie, my brother yesterday. He finally had surgery on one of his hands. He is doing well except he has to keep his hand up for 4 days. After this one heals, he has to have the other one done. But he feels fine so all appears to be OK.

• 07/19/07 - Well, this was a great news week. First I received an email from Daniela Guatieri, Uncle Damiano?s daughter. I was so excited to have made contact with a first cousin I have never meet. She found the website when searching for pictures of Rovito. My Italy Trip pictures were found. We will keep in contact and hopefully she can help fill in some missing information. She sent some pictures which I will upload shortly.
  Second, I got a email from Nunzio. He informed me that Maria Francesca Milito had her baby, Salvatore, in December. He also said the Elfida is expecting in September. In addition, he will have a new job in September, he will be involved in pollution inspecting for Regione Calabria.
   

• 06/21/07 - Note from Mary Jamrozik on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, Good morning and good it is, Cyndi had her baby this morning at 5:36a.m.  The lord has blessed me with my 3rd great grandchild.  Praise the lord.  So far everything seems to be okay, of course they called me even before he was examined so I still need to pray.  I never heard of this before but the doctor took his head, as he was being delivered and told Jeff, Cyndi's husband to take the rest of him out.  Oh my how things have changed, when I had my children my husband was not even allowed in the labor room.  Dillan is 6 lbs 2 ozs and 19 inches long.  God bless him. Mary.
   

• 05/11/07 - Exciting news: Krystal Gualtieri, Louie's granddaughter and Don Gualtieri's daughter, is going to get married on April 12, 2008 to Michael Steven Adams Jr. They live in Phoenix, AZ.
   

• 05/08/07 - I got word yesterday that Louie has moved from the Seattle area back to Las Vegas.

• May 6th 2007 - The backyard fountain is completed:

• May 1st 2007 - I finally have the backyard fountain running. I still have to plant the pots with some spiral evergreens. I want to plant lemon trees but the last cold spell killed one. The stone pond is hand carved Cantera Stone to my specification and design. Cantera is a strong, malleable natural stone formed by volcanic dust and ash washed into silt beds and combined with lava and local stone where it is compressed and over millions of year?s turns into Cantera Stone. Cantera Stone actually absorbs air and humidity, without causing the stone to expand or contract in varying weather conditions. This means the stone will not over expand or contract and therefore will NOT crack over time. This also means that skin will not burn on contact with Cantera Stone. I would have finished sooner but I ran onto some challenges. The pump I install, worked on driveway when I tested it but after putting the fountain on 12? base the pump could not pump the water that high. We also have 2 bench made of the same material.

• March 2007 - Tony stated working on the fountain for the back yard. He marked out the location for the pond and dug a 45-foot ditch dug, 12 inches deep, to run a water line to the fountain. Here are some pictures. Once it is all done, pictures will be put into the ?Villa Cosenza Sul Lago? Album. For now here is a picture of the statue in my garage.

• 04/26/07 #1 - Tiffany Gualtieri, Don?s daughter & Louie?s granddaughter says things are good with her family. She will be in a play at her school called, "Tales of Terror From Nightmare High School" on May 3, 4, and 5. She is finding it a lot of fun but has been busy practicing. She has been staying after school for about 2-3 hours every day practicing!
  #2 - Tony finally got the concrete pad poured and the Cantera hand carved stone base installed for the Roman Goddess Fountain. If the weather holds up, it will be sealed tomorrow and filled with water on Saturday. He will take pictures once it is running. 
   

• 04/22/07 #1 - Leysa & Eleysa took Mario out to 'Apple-Bee' for lunch to remember Dorothys birthday. Dorothy liked to go there on her birthday for ribs.
  #2 - Tony continues to work on the outdoor fountain. If the weather holds up he should have it done this week.
  #3 - Destina is sell Tupperware again, this time in Texas. There is a link to her web-site on the company page if you need Tupperware. They ship anywhere.
  
   

• 04/14/07 #1 -Daniel is the news again; he is mentioned in the April 2007 JPT Online Magazine, see: Flow Profiling Gas Wells With Distributed-Temperature-Sensing Data
  #2 - Tony continues to work on the backyard water feature; he just finished digging another ditch. This one is 50 feet long and 18" deep to be used to run electric to the pump and for lights. The hardest part was digging up brick, tile, branches and tree stumps. The lot the house is on was an old tree farm.

• 04/01/07 #1 -Tony and Vivian had a very nice weekend. Danial & Shelley Gualtieri and their kids took us, Destina and Alexis to the movies, Peaceful Warrior, and to Culver?s to eat. The movie was very good with a great message for everyone.
  #2 - Tony also started working on the water feature now that we approval from the Homeowners Association to put it in. See Photo Page.
  #3 ? Mario Gualtieri is going to drive to Virginia to his son for Easter.

• 03/23/07 #1 - Alexis Demko?s, Destina (Gualtieri) Demko?s daughter, school was locked down yesterday due to a bomb threat. She was sure flustered.
  #2 ? Vivian Gualtieri has made a couple of trips to the doctors. She has had 2 Eye Strokes in her left eye. The eye doctor says there is a potential she my lose site in that eye. She has also been told she has a degenerated disc in her neck. She is going in for an MRI and other tests soon.
   

• 03/26/07 - Clorinda (Gualtieri) Woodruff is a Grandmother / Nonna again. Her daughter, Annette (Woodruff) Buehn gave birth to a baby boy, Nicholas Paul Buehn on 3/23/07 at 8:09 AM. Nicholas weighted 8lbs and was 18.3/4in long.
   

• 03/23/07 #1 - Baby Adriana, Mario's granddaughter and Kenny Blackman's daughter, is in the hospital with a seizure and is not doing very well.
  #2 Mary Jamrozik's daughter, Jo Bujak, who lives in Los Vegas, is expecting her first grandchild.
   

• 03/19/07 #1 Elsyia - Elsyia, Leysa (Gualtieri) Logan's daughter and Mario's granddaughter got married on 3/17/2007 to Daniel Mahoney in Keokuk, IA.

#2 Tami's Girls - Tami's daughters and Louie's granddaughter are leaving this week to visit their Aunt Teresa in Marsure, Italy for a couple of weeks.

#3 Danial - Danial, Tony's son, just returned from a business trip to the Kingdom of Bahrain, a country in the Persian Gulf across from Saudi Arabia.

• 03/08/07 - Family & freinds: It's been a very difficult several days for the Hutchinson family. They have had our very own Malibu Fire/Katrina event rolled in to one. The Markets West Office Furniture Building was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning. NO ONE was hurt.  See 2 Alarm Fire.

• 02/27/07- Kris & Annie (Balen) Oberton: 
  Annie  wrote: We went to Mexico for a week, which was wonderful, had a great time. Got to go snorkeling at Xel-ha, and in the ocean.  Swimming with the dolphins was my favorite, I loved it!  Our room was right on the beach. See photos in Photo Page.
  I'm doing ok.  Came home to the same old stresses but I have been much calmer about them, it was wonderful therapy!  Can't remember if I told you or not but I have to go to the cities to have extensive heart tests done sometime in the next few months.  I will probably need open heart surgery again, which I am terrified about, but am getting a little better for now.  I'm trying not to worry about it until the time comes because there isn't anything I can do to change it anyways.  My grandpa John had cancer I guess and had surgery too take care of it.  This was all while I was in Mexico so I wasn't around.

• 02/27/07- Tony: I held the second leathercraft class for the grandkids, they finished 3 zipper pulls and a Key Fob. Class #3 is this week-end.

• 02/06/07: Well Vivian and I had a wonderful 42th Anniversary. Last weekend, I ran a Leather Craft class for the grandkids and another planed in 2 weeks. I gave each of them some tools and leather kits along with the promise to hold 4 classes on how to use them. After the class we had lunch and went to the movies.
