Gualtieri Family News 2006

The following is news and information about some of our activities in 2006:

12/23/06: First I want to say: "Buon Natale e Felice e Prospero Anno Nuovo!" Second, I finally have my notes/journal from the trip ready. See Tony's Italy Trip Notes. Just be kind, I am not an author, I just made some notes. I will now start upload a lot of pictures.

12/15/06: I learned today that Aida (Gualtieri) Cadetto (Uncle Joe Gualtieri?s daughter) passed away on December 08, 2006. She was 76 years old and was in a nursing home for 12 years, however, for the last 6 years she did not talk, walk or recognize anyone. As I will, please put her in your prays

12/03-12/12 - Louie is home. Danial visited his Uncle Sammy in Las Vegas. Vivian had a major birhtday.

11/26-12/02 - First, John Balen is in the hospital. He fell in a parking lot. Please keep him in your prays. Second, We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Third, I have returned home safe and sound. Louie and I had a great time and Teresa and Mike were wonderful hosts. Louie is still in Italy but should return next week. I am still working on my trip report and organizing my pictures. As soon as I get that done I will create an album and add them to the gallery.

10/22-10/26 - Well the guest bathroom is done. I removed to plants by the doorway so now I can go to Italy. I'll add pictures when I return. No more changes for a month, until I get back.

10/15-10/21 - Well I have made a lot of changes to the web-site and added albums and several pictures to the gallery. I have also been busy painting the guest bathroom, hopefully it will be done tomorrow. Vivian said I can't go to Italy until it is finished. Alexis is in a school play on 10/20. Danial is going on a long deep-sea fishing trip on Friday. We have had a lot of rain this week.

10/08-10/14 - Happy Brithday Danial Gualtieri
Well we celebrated Danial?s birthday. He has been busy at work and at home. He had his kitchen and master bath floor replaced with beautiful tile. I also helped him paint both rooms and move the appliances in and out of the kitchen. He is now replacing the rest of the first floor, floor with wood ? he is doing it himself.
So far Destina like her new job.
The mattress for the guest room came but the brought a full size box spring and a queen sized mattress ? so maybe next week. But the furniture for our room arrived, I?ll put some pictures up shortly.

10/01-07 - What a busy week.
First - Danial is now officially a published author. He had an article published in the ?Journal of Petroleum Technology?. It is the magazine for the Society of Petroleum Engineers. His article was:
Real-Time Fluid Tracking Optimizes Treatment Design, Improves Strategy.
Second, Destina starts a new job Monday. She is working for an agency but working at Hewlett-Packard (HP), which is just down the street from us, maybe 2 miles.
Third, the guest room is now all done except for the mattress, it is schedule to arrive next week along with our new bedroom furniture. I will put some pictures in the ?Photo? page as soon as they are set up. Vivian says I have to get the guess bathroom painted in the next 2 weeks.
Fourth, Cousin Mary sent me some additional pictures to add to the Gualtieri Gallery. I have more to add also.
Fifth, I made reservations to go to Venice for my birthday to see my niece Therese, her husband Mike and Louie (who is already there.) They now live just north of Venice.
Sixth, Happy Columbus Day.

09/17-28 - Well Vivian finally decide which bedroom was to be the guest bedroom and I just finished painting it. We decided to move some of our bedroom furniture into that room along with a new bed so that is next. We are replacing our bedroom furniture with something more in the Italian Villa style.
09/10-16 - Louis left this week for an extended visit with Theresa & Mike in Italy near Venice.
09/03-09 - This week Alexis had her 10th Birthday party at the Jack and The Giant play.
